Privacy Policy
CertStat
Effective date: April 28, 2026
Overview
CertStat is an SSL/TLS certificate monitoring app. It helps users monitor certificate expiry and certificate status for domains or fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) they choose to enter.
This policy explains what CertStat does with information used by the app. CertStat is designed to avoid unnecessary personal data collection.
Information Stored on Your Device
Domains and FQDNs entered by users are stored locally on the user's device. CertStat does not require account creation, login credentials, or a user profile to monitor certificates.
Certificate Monitoring
Certificate checks are performed only for the purpose of monitoring SSL/TLS certificate expiry, validity, and status for the domains or FQDNs selected by the user.
Notifications
CertStat may use local notifications on the device to alert users about certificate expiry or certificate status changes. These notifications are generated for monitoring alerts and are controlled by the device and app settings.
Exports
JSON and PDF exports are created locally and are controlled by the user. Users decide when to create, save, share, or delete exported files.
Data Sharing and Sale
CertStat does not sell personal user data. CertStat does not share personal user data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or data brokerage purposes.
Personal Data Collection
CertStat does not collect unnecessary personal data. The app is intended to perform certificate monitoring using the domains or FQDNs the user chooses to manage.
Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated as CertStat evolves. If changes are made, the effective date on this page will be updated.
